Home for me is now Linlithgow (Edinburgh, Scotland), but I was born more than 5000 miles away, growing up in a small village called Matale in Sri Lanka. Coming to the UK was one of many dreams that fuelled my long hours of studying as a child and adult. Like my country's long and fascinating history, my career has had many twists and turns, from mushroom farming, to corporate HR, to academia, and then over the past few years, into the world of art.
Since taking up the palette knives and acrylic paint that are my chosen media for creating my art, I discovered quickly that I could create, and recreate, art in a variety of colour palettes. As the saying goes....every picture tells a story. Painted stories of course endure when the storytellers no longer do.
You can choose to commission a unique work capturing an image of your choice, which you can either supply if you have a favourite face or place, or you can ask me to find something to your specification. This will then be created to a colour palette of your choosing.
