09.02.23 Maya

2023 ended prolifically with several works, but at the start of December, I headed back to Sri Lanka for nearly a month visiting family and friends. I am now in the throes of academic life again, but have managed to create a few new paintings, one of these revealed here. Slightly exotic, direct, confident.....Maya marks another little shift of direction in my art, no quite like anything else I have done so far - watch her creation from start to signature above.  More to come!
