New work! This one was finished today and captures the sun rising on a new day. Light bursting forth, with suggestions of hope and new growth as it illuminates the carpet of green in a forest.  This echoes other paintings such as Twilight, And so the Day Goes Down, Blood Red Forest, There is a Light, Dusk and is a painting style I very much enjoy working in!
